| We are the Number 1 English-language FREE parenting magazine in Malaysia. As a Special Interest Publication that is fresh, vital and grabs attention, we have developed a powerful and trusting friendship with a large community of parents to whom our magazine is distributed. |
| |
| Every month, Kidz ' circulation of 25,000 reaches leading child learning centres, international and private schools across Malaysia where it is received directly by parents of students in various learning institutions. It is also given out for free at top malls, retail outlets, restaurants and family-related businesses and establishments, including public utilities, hospitals and clinics. Kidz enjoys the captive following and a readership base of 60,000. |
| |
| We are the only magazine that is interactive - each section and issue of Kidz is crafted in response to what parents want and ask for, as revealed in our regular forums, focus group discussions, mini surveys, interviews, pre-testing and content-feedback mechanisms. This allows our community of parents, and their kids, to actively participate in Kidz' editorial creation. This makes us the first and only parenting magazine to be created by parents and kids. |
| |
| Our editorial team and advisory panel are made up of mums, dads and children, aged three to 15. Unlike most parenting magazines, we do not boast of a panel of experts composed of child development specialists, academicians, doctors, psychiatrists and scientists. Instead, we believe that parenting advice is best given by parents themselves. We let average mums and dads share their wisdom and seek wisdom from other parents who have dealt with the travails of parenthood and learned from the best teacher - their own personal experiences. And whilst we also have experts in various fields as contributors, they present themselves, and speak to our readers, as fellow parents, first and foremost. |
| |
| Kidz ' speaks a different language - no-holds barred and brutally real - with honesty infused by the reality of personal experiences. We offer a unique magazine experience where the language is as if one is "talking to a friend." As such we have struck a chord with parents everywhere as one they can truly call their own. For this, we have enjoyed their loyal following and readers "tune in" from one issue to the next, as they await articles that respond to their editorial requests. |

We are not a magazine for mothers and babies. We do not cater to expectant mothers, mothers with newborn babies, first-time parents and parents of toddlers. Rather, we focus on what we believe to be the more challenging and difficult years. Thus, parents with kids, aged 3 to 15, are our target market. |

We do not use technical jargon or give textbook solutions. Whilst we also have child development experts, academicians, doctors and scientists in our editorial team and advisory panel, they present themselves, and speak to our readers as fellow parents, first and foremost. |

We are not a cute magazine. While you may find our design and layout to be uniquely fresh and colourful, we ask tough questions about the child and we plunge deep into the heart of the most pressing real issues on kids and parenting other magazines find too controversial to tackle. |

We are not selling advice. Rather, we are seeking it, from parents, and on behalf of other parents. Kidz, the magazine, does not claim to be a parental authority. We believe that parenting advice is best given by parents themselves. This is the only magazine where parents are the writers and contributors. |

We are not counting out the kids. While this is a parenting magazine, we believe that parents stand to learn the most from the children. As such, kids have formed part of our editorial team and advisory panel. We have given kids a voice in this magazine so that parents could better appreciate and learn from their perspective. |
